Legacy Piece Acheron Guide: Tower Level 50 Explained
What Acheron needs
The Acheron NPC is on Legacy Island, and the requirement is a single line: Tower Level 50. No materials, no rank gate, no questline — just tower progress. That makes it one of the few weapons in the game where the answer to “how do I get it” is a number you can compute.
How Tower XP is awarded
Straight from the weapon’s own card:
- Floors 1–8: 1 XP each
- Floor 9: 5 XP per wave — 20 XP total
- Floor 10: 10 XP
- Higher floors award progressively more
So a clean run through floor 10 is 8 + 20 + 10 = 38 tower XP. Reaching Tower Level 50 therefore takes on the order of a couple of full clears if your ceiling is floor 10, and far fewer once you can push past it — the card is explicit that the higher you climb, the more XP each floor gives.
The practical read: depth beats repetition. Two runs to floor 12 are worth more than six runs to floor 6.
Building for the tower
The tower is wave-based, which changes what a good build looks like. Burst that flattens one target does less for you than sustained clear and survivability:
- Damage reduction and Max HP carry further here than raw amp — see the defensive entries on the race tier list.
- Stacking clan passives — Tekketsu’s endurance stacks and Berserker’s rage both ramp across a wave rather than resetting between targets. Compare them on the clan tier list.
- Short-cooldown rotations beat long ones. Check cooldowns, not just burst totals, in the weapons table.
What else the tower gives
Tower runs are also where Dungeon Tokens come from, which are spent in the Dungeon Shop — stock lists are on the shops page. Note that update 1.5 Part 2 bound tower item rewards to the account, the same way code rewards are bound, so nothing you earn in there can be moved.
The tower arrived with update 1.1 alongside the Acheron weapon itself; the rest of the dungeon modes, including the weekly Tournament with its rotating eclipse modifiers, are covered on the dungeon page.
