How to Get Cid in Legacy Piece (Sword, Outfit & Title)
Where to find Cid Kagenou
This is the part most guides get wrong: Cid Kagenou does not spawn on the map on his own. He is a world boss you summon, which is why players searching “where is Cid” come up empty walking around.
World bosses are summoned at the Sacrifice Table using a Boss Ticket plus Money. Once summoned, he is a level 10,000, Dark element fight — the joint-highest level in the game alongside the One-Eyed Owl.
Where Boss Tickets come from
You need tickets before you need anything else, and there are three reliable sources:
- Codes. Several active codes pay out Boss Tickets in the thousands. This is by far the fastest route.
- The world bosses themselves. Both drop Boss Ticket back at 45% per kill, x1–10 — so a successful kill usually pays for the next summon.
- Quest rewards. Several quests include tickets in their reward bundles.
What Cid Kagenou drops
The headline drops are brutal on paper:
| Drop | Chance per kill |
|---|---|
| Cid (Mythical sword) | 0.15% |
| Cid’s Outfit | 0.25% |
| The Hidden Shadow (title) | from the same kill |
| Boss Ticket | 45%, x1–10 |
| Common Chest | 45%, x1–5 |
| E-Shard | 40%, x4–15 |
The full table, including every material below those rates, is on the boss page.
At 0.15%, the sword averages roughly 660 kills. That is not a bad afternoon — it is a project. Which is exactly why the 45% ticket return matters: the farm sustains itself as long as you can kill him reliably.
Is the Cid sword worth 660 kills?
Read its numbers before you commit. The Cid blade is Mythical, Dark element, with a five-key moveset — but its published damage is concentrated in one move (C at 40) rather than spread across the rotation. Compared against the rest of the list on the weapon tier list, it ranks on burst rather than sustain.
If you are farming Cid for the outfit or the title instead, note that the outfit is the more likely drop of the two at 0.25%.
Making the farm faster
- Run a Drop Potion before you summon, not after. Potions multiply the listed percentages, and current codes hand them out.
- Bring survivability, not just damage. A level 10,000 boss punishes a glass build — see the damage-reduction entries on the race tier list.
- Farm with a party if you can. Drop rolls are per kill, so more kills per hour is the only lever that exists.
